Today was such a happy moment for Rosebud, but her world came crashing down when the ring on the bell indicated it was time to go. She was not going to see the twins take a bath.
The little timer is given to her each time she walks into the NICU. Siblings under thirteen are allowed to visit only once a day, only for fifteen minutes. They give them a timer they must carry to the room. You can here the seconds tick away during her visit.
Today, those seconds ticked ever so quickly. As the tears rolled down her eyes, she snuggled into a place that brings her comfort, her mommy’s shoulder. This powerful moment showcasing a mother’s love, comforting her first born and the oldest twin.
