The morning started at 3:30am Saturday, June 10th being awaken by Sarah saying something is wrong. As I rubbed my eyes trying to figure out what was going on, I realized her swift movements to the bathroom indicated I better jump into action. As I ran into the bathroom, I looked at Sarah as tears ran down her face. I knew…I better call Dr. Hearn immediately. I wondered…how did this start.
First of all…I have a huge heart for nursing. My mom and sister are nurses. This image brings me joy, peace, and gratitude to the many nurses who have and are still providing the very best care to George and Henry.
Nurse Lynn was giving George a bath and the way she held him, looked at him, cared for him; showcases the amount of care she brings to each child in the NICU.
It was so funny to watch Rosebud react to each little facial expression. As she opened the doors to the isolette, Henry was letting out a big yawn. She thought it was the most amazing thing to witness. There is so much fun being reminded to capture, embrace, and celebrate the little moments in time! #NICU #Rosebud #TwinsLife #Canon #5Dmkii
I love this picture. I love seeing Rosebud peeking into Henry’s isolette, checking on him this morning. Henry is looking right at her, both staring at each other. They are forming their bond, becoming kindred spirits. I think I will hold this picture for the day when Henry and Rosebud fight for the first time. #NICU #Rosebud #TwinsLife #Canon #5Dmkiii
Today was such a happy moment for Rosebud, but her world came crashing down when the ring on the bell indicated it was time to go. She was not going to see the twins take a bath.
There is something so innocent and sweet, a big sister kissing her little brother. Rosebud has been so excited about seeing the twins.
Trust…it is an amazing!
feeling
ability
law
certainty
conviction
credence
reliance
confidence
Trust allows someone to have, use, or look after (someone or something of importance or value) with confidence.
There are so many ways to look at the word trust. Many in the financial and business world look at the word either through a relational perspective or a contractual perspective.
I love this picture…absolutely love this! Rosebud and Sarah standing, talking with Henry, all the while Sarah is showing her how to safely interact with the twins inside the NICU. We have been looking for ways to maximize time for Rosebud with the twins and this is a wonderful moment in time. Thankful the type of environment that GHS’s NICU staff creates for families like ours! #NICU #TwinsLife
It takes a village…it truly takes a village. I am sitting here completely overwhelmed and overjoyed.
First of all, on this Father’s Day…I was able to have the whole family in one place. We were able to take Rosebud to the NICU and spend time with the twins. Even though we had only fifteen minutes in the room with Rose, it was the most precious fifteen minutes I can remember.
