After taking the boys on their first beach trip, I have been thinking about my childhood visiting the beach. Specifically, thinking about the many years as a kid on Hunting Island, having instant access to the beach.
I was looking through the archives and came across these images I captured in 2006 and 2007. I captured this image from the south beach of Hunting Island, overlooking the inlet with the bridge leading to Fripp Island in the background.
We used to walk this beach every evening since I was a little boy. My father used to capture the sunset across this inlet, each image the beach has receded a little more. We tore down the cabin in the fall of 2008 because the water was underneath the house. I captured this image with my #Canon #20D.
