I have never been so humbled and honored to feature Patrick Sapp as one of the dads in #ManUPstate’s #BeADad campaign. It seems like yesterday I was working for Clemson Football in the video department and Patrick was a young, rising quarterback for the Tigers. He could throw the football a mile and defenses had a hard time taking him down because of his size.
I have been thinking about Nigel’s #BeADad story this week, a story of a committed working father and husband. His story has taught me so much about the intentionality of being a dad, the consistent commitment to being “present”.
I hear your pain! I feel your pain! Your pain is important to me and so are the other brothers and sisters of this community. We are all human and we all feel pain.

There is so much comedy packed into one picture! First, the fact Sarah is riding Sadie’s Ezy Roller with Miles screaming and Jennifer pushing! So much could go wrong with this! Second, Sadie not phased that Sarah is riding her Ezy Roller with a screaming Miles, but slowly walking along and unamused wearing Jennifer’s shades…so cool and smooth!
