I have never been so humbled and honored to feature Patrick Sapp as one of the dads in #ManUPstate’s #BeADad campaign. It seems like yesterday I was working for Clemson Football in the video department and Patrick was a young, rising quarterback for the Tigers. He could throw the football a mile and defenses had a hard time taking him down because of his size.
I have been thinking about Nigel’s #BeADad story this week, a story of a committed working father and husband. His story has taught me so much about the intentionality of being a dad, the consistent commitment to being “present”.
I find so may wonderful colors in this picture…so many vivid colors of happy smiles, playful energy, expressions of love and genuine joy. If you look in his eyes, you see his desire to share his playful joy, to have his picture taken. It was my intention to capture the images of those few peacefully protesting last night in downtown Anderson, but what I found are happy kids, peaceful expression of joy.
