The Local Uptown, formally known as the Uptown Lounge, is a neighborhood hangout since 1971 offering burgers, beers & mixed drinks, plus pool & a patio. They have used this time during business closures of COVID-19 to renovate inside and out for a new look and a fresh beginning!

Here is their story, one that is more than just about name changes and renovations. This is a story of helping frontline workers in an effort called Anderson Aid.
